Career and Personal Life

Chad’s venture into real estate commenced in 2005, a pivotal year that laid the foundation for his future success. Rising swiftly through the ranks, he soon became an owner of Regency Real Estate Brokers, helping propel the firm to the top spot as the #1 individual selling office in all of Orange County, California. With a keen eye for opportunities and a passion for the business, Chad expanded his reach by partnering with Harcourts Prime Properties in Monarch Beach, overseeing a team of over 50 accomplished real estate agents. His expertise spans a vast geographical area, encompassing Southern California from Santa Barbara to the Mexico border and the Palm Springs region.

Chad’s leadership style enhances the real estate experience for anyone who works with his company. He understands that this is a people business, and the more you take care of people, the better service you provide and, ultimately, the better company you have.

Chad is in charge of training the 50 agents working for Harcourts Prime Properties in Monarch Beach. Through teaching and sharing his vast knowledge of the industry, he has been able to help hundreds of agents throughout his career.

Professional Accomplishments

Chad’s professional accomplishments are as impressive as they are varied. Noteworthy milestones include his role as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Green Group, a premier real estate team renowned for consistently ranking in the top 1% of all agents. This group is made up of his business partner and co-founder, Justin Green, along with Bill Pasqualino, one of the most successful listing agents for auction in the country. Additionally, his co-founding of Harcourts Carolinas in 2022 further solidified his presence in the industry, extending his influence to the vibrant real estate market of Columbia, South Carolina. Columbia is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country. Chad felt there was a great opportunity to bring his expertise to the area by starting a real estate office. He has already grown to have several highly-producing agents working for him. He is also investing financially in Columbia on several development projects, as it is his belief this is the next area to have a boom.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chad has facilitated the sale of over 1,000 homes, with total sales exceeding $1,000,000,000—a testament to his expertise and client-focused approach. He has sold pieces of land for as little as $60,000 up to incredible estates valued in the $20M+.

Chad partners with Harcourts Auctions, which is the largest luxury auction house in the world, selling 12,000 non distressed auctions each year. Based out of Brisbane, Australia, auctions are one of the predominant ways in which real estate is sold overseas. He uses the auction platform to offer his clients an alternative option to traditional real estate. With his partnership with Harcourts Auctions, He has been able to sell homes throughout North America.

Philanthropic Endeavors

While Chad’s professional accomplishments are noteworthy, his commitment to philanthropy is equally commendable. For over 13 years, he has been actively involved with the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue, channeling his passion for animals into meaningful contributions. Through financial donations, fundraising efforts, and fostering dogs in need, Chad exemplifies the importance of giving back to the community.

Chad Widtfeldt and his partner Justin Green believe in giving back to the community that has given them so much. They have actively participated in donating and participating in charities such as Angel Flight, Laura’s House, charities funding cancer research, and individual fundraisers for community members in need. He has had great professional success in business and finds the most fulfillment in helping others who need it.

Personal Life

In his rare downtime, Chad cherishes spending time with his wife, Laura, and their two children, Peyton and Hudson. Whether enjoying a round of golf or embarking on outdoor adventures with their beloved Golden Retrievers, Chad finds joy in the simple pleasures of family and leisure. He also finds solace and fulfillment in various hobbies, including marathon running, skiing, pickleball, and golf. His journey into marathon running was motivated by a desire for fitness and personal challenge. He has completed the New York & London marathons with a goal of completing the “World Majors,” which consist of New York, London, Japan, Chicago, Boston, and Berlin. He is currently writing his first book about his experience.

Chad grew up in Southern California from the age of 12. Before then, Chad lived all over the world with his family, being born in Colorado, then moving to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Hong Kong & Australia. This trip was an incredible experience for Chad, and it taught him early on how different cultures function and how best to communicate with people from around the world. Ultimately, he attended the University of California Santa Barbara, where he graduated in 2004. He almost immediately entered the real estate industry, earning his license in January of 2005. Chad met his wife Laura in 2010 and was married in 2014 in California. Chad, being in the real estate market, has owned several homes throughout South Orange County. They have now settled down in the beautiful community of Rancho Mission Viejo. They believe this is the optimal community to raise their 7 & 8-year-old children.

Future Milestones

Looking ahead, Chad anticipates celebrating his 20-year anniversary as a realtor—a significant milestone that reflects his enduring dedication to the real estate industry and his unwavering commitment to excellence. Chad, along with his partner, will celebrate their 9th year of ownership of Harcourts, Monarch Beach. During that time, Chad led the charge in helping it grow to be one of the most successful and prominent real estate offices along the coast. He has assisted in opening their own escrow company, Portico Escrow. Portico is a customer service-based company that continues to grow each year.

Chad is an entrepreneur at heart and is involved with many businesses inside the real estate sector. His role in multiple companies allows him to continue to educate himself on the newest trends in the industry and better serve his clients.
